How is the data collected by VEEIP used?
When you register with VEEIP and start to interact with the Platform by adding brands and other partners (such as crowds), VEEIP starts to build your profile to assist brands to personalise their VEEIPs.
The more information that VEEIP has access to, the more the Platform can tailor VEEIPs to you. VEEIP therefore needs to share limited information with the brands and other partners that you add.

Who controls the data?
We believe that you, the consumer, should be in control of your own data and the VEEIP Platform puts you at the centre.
By allowing VEEIP to share limited data about you, VEEIP can deliver a range of personalised experiences that you access effortlessly.
You can remove access to participating brands or other partners or terminate your account at any time.
How can I be sure that the data held by VEEIP will not be lost or sold to a third party?
VEEIP employs strict security processes and standards to secure your data. These are governed by the law (Data Protection Act 1998 as amended in 2018) and PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards), global industry regulations developed by Visa, Mastercard, American Express and others to secure cardholder data. VEEIP also complies with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) that came into effect in May 2018.
VEEIP does NOT sell or share data with any third parties as the Platform is funded by the participating partners and members.
Unlike many 'data' companies, VEEIP's business is not based upon collecting data about our members and selling it to as many buyers as possible.
VEEIP is designed to facilitate a fair exchange between brands and the consumers who shop with them.
Can I stop my data from being used by VEEIP and consequently VEEIP brands?
Yes, you can control use of your data in a number of ways:
i. By removing brands, you can terminate individual brand access to your data.
ii. By terminating your account, you can restrict VEEIP's ability to use your data.
iii. By terminating your account and exercising your right to be forgotten, all data records that may be used to identify you, your purchases and relationships with brands and other partners are permanently destroyed.
