Terms of Use (August 2022)

  1. Introduction

    1. These terms govern how you may access and use the VEEIP website and your wider participation in the VEEIP Platform. If you have accepted terms and conditions with VEEIP as a Member or in any other capacity, these terms apply in addition and subject to any such accepted terms.
    2. By using the VEEIP Platform through our website veeip.com and mobile/other device applications or 'Apps', or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these terms and you agree to be bound by them each time you visit these Sites.
    3. VEEIP Limited reserve the right to amend these Terms of Use without notice. You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes made to these Terms of Use, as they are binding on you.
    4. Definitions
      Policymeans this acceptable use policy;
      Sitemeans the following website: VEEIP.com and all associated web pages and applications, whether accessed through a website browser or mobile device application using various urls;
      Submissionmeans any text, images, video, audio or other multimedia content, software or other information or material submitted by you or other users to the Site;
      We, us or ourmeans VEEIP Limited, company registration number 06588217 and whose registered office is at 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU. References to us in this Policy includes our group companies from time to time;
      You or yourmeans the person accessing or using the Site or its content; and
      VEEIP Platformmeans the combination of relationships and agreements between us and third parties and any and all hardware, operating systems, software and connectivity devices as may be required from time to time to provide the VEEIP enhanced brand/customer relationship experience and promotions linked to customers' payment cards, accounts and devices.

  2. Copyright

    1. This Site and the VEEIP Platform, including but not limited to, their content, layout and design, are copyright of VEEIP Limited and its licensors. No part of these platforms may be reproduced in any form without the express permission of VEEIP Limited.

  3. Disclaimer

    1. We may suspend access to this Site or the VEEIP Platform, or close them indefinitely, without notice. VEEIP Limited makes every effort to ensure that the information contained in these platforms is accurate and current. However, we give no warranty or undertaking as to the quality or freedom from error of the contents of these platforms. To the extent permitted by law, access and use of these platforms are entirely at your own risk. Please ensure that you regularly check for and protect against viruses when using these platforms as we make no guarantee that they are free from computer viruses or any other malicious or impairing computer program.
    2. These platforms are in continuous development and we reserve the right to permanently or temporarily alter content without notice. All information is subject to change.
    3. VEEIP Limited shall not be liable for any claims or losses of any nature, arising indirectly or directly from use of these platforms (except liability for personal injury or death arising from its negligence or liability for fraud or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law). You agree to indemnify VEEIP Limited for any loss or damage suffered by VEEIP Limited arising out of your use of this website, the VEEIP Platform and/or your breach of the Terms of Use.

  4. Acceptable use

    1. We permit you to use the Site only for personal, non-commercial purposes and primarily for accessing information about us and the VEEIP Platform, and for participating in the VEEIP Platform or evaluating whether you would like to participate in it. Use of the Site in any other way, including in contravention of any restriction on use set out in this Policy, is not permitted. If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy, you may not use the Site.

  5. Restrictions on use

    1. As a condition of your use of the Site, you agree:
      1. not to use the Site for any purpose that is unlawful under any applicable law or prohibited by this Policy or any terms and conditions you have accepted governing your participation in the VEEIP Platform;
      2. not to use the Site to commit any act of fraud;
      3. not to use the Site to distribute viruses or malware or other similar harmful software code;
      4. not to use the Site for purposes of promoting unsolicited advertising or sending spam;
      5. not to use the Site to simulate communications from us or another service or entity in order to collect identity information, authentication credentials, or other information ('phishing');
      6. not to use the Site in any manner that disrupts the operation of our Site or business or the website or business of any other entity;
      7. not to use the Site in any manner that harms minors;
      8. not to promote any unlawful activity;
      9. not to represent or suggest that we endorse any other business, product or service unless we have separately agreed to do so in writing;
      10. not to use the Site to gain unauthorised access to or use of computers, data, systems, accounts or networks;
      11. not to attempt to circumvent password or user authentication methods; and
      12. to comply with the provisions relating to our intellectual property rights and software contained in any terms and conditions you have accepted governing your participation in the VEEIP Platform, including but not limited to those relating to our intellectual property rights and software.

  6. Feedback, chat and other interactive services

    1. We may make feedback, chat rooms or other communication services ('Interactive Services') available on the Site.
    2. If you rate your purchase experiences with Brands and/or provide comments and feedback (Submissions) your Submissions will be visible:
      1. to the Partner in question, together with your name (as first name and last initial only), the related transaction details and some geographic and demographic data; and
      2. to other members in an anonymised form.
    3. We are not obliged to monitor or moderate Submissions to our interactive services. Where we do monitor or moderate Submissions we shall indicate how this is performed and who should be contacted in relation to any Submission of concern to you.
    4. We may remove or edit any Submissions to any of our interactive services whether they are moderated or not.
    5. Any Submission you make must comply with our Submission standards set out below.

  7. Submission standards

    1. Any Submission or communication to users of our Site must conform to standards of accuracy, decency and lawfulness, which shall be applied in our discretion, acting reasonably. In particular, you warrant that any Submission or communication is:
      1. your own original work and lawfully submitted;
      2. factually accurate or your own genuinely held belief;
      3. provided with the necessary consent of any third party;
      4. not defamatory or likely to give rise to an allegation of defamation;
      5. not offensive, obscene, sexually explicit, discriminatory or deceptive; and
      6. unlikely to cause offence, embarrassment or annoyance to others.

  8. Linking and framing

    1. You may create a link to our Site from another website without our prior written consent provided no such link:
      1. creates a frame or any other browser or border environment around the content of our Site;
      2. implies that we endorse your products or services or any of the products or services of, or available through, the website on which you place a link to our Site;
      3. displays any of the trade marks or logos used on our Site without our permission or that of the owner of such trade marks or logos; or
      4. is placed on a website that itself does not meet the acceptable use requirements of this Policy.
    2. We reserve the right to require you to immediately remove any link to the Site at any time, and you shall immediately comply with any request by us to remove any such link.

  9. Hyperlinks and third party sites

    1. The VEEIP Platform may contain hyperlinks or references to third party websites outside the VEEIP Platform. Any such hyperlinks or references are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over third party websites and accept no legal responsibility for any content, material or information contained in them. The display of any hyperlink and reference to any third party website does not mean that we endorse that third party's website, products or services. Your use of a third party site may be governed by the terms and conditions of that third party site.

  10. Location Services

    1. We will record location information about you, including the location and time of any purchases you make with a linked payment method at a participating Brand. We shall also use your location information available from your device that you use to access the VEEIP Platform in order to highlight location-based VEEIPs or other local benefits to you.
    2. We use a third party provider for the supply of maps and location information on the VEEIP Platform, for example to show real time position and the location of nearby Brands. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to verify that such location information is accurate but we do not accept liability for the accuracy and completeness of such maps and location information provided by third parties.

  11. Using the VEEIP name and logo

    1. "VEEIP", "LOVE. BACK.", "VEEIP. More of what you love" and "WE LOVE VEEIP LOVE YOU" are registered trade marks of Quercus (BVI) Ltd and licensed to VEEIP Limited.
    2. You may not use our trade marks, logos or trade names except in accordance with this Policy and any terms and conditions you have accepted governing your participation in the VEEIP Platform.

  12. Breach

    1. We shall apply these terms in our absolute discretion. In the event of your breach of these Terms we may terminate or suspend your use of the Site, remove or edit Submissions, disclose Submissions to law enforcement authorities or take any action we consider necessary to remedy the breach.

  13. Viruses, hacking and other offences

    1. You must not misuse this website by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to this website, the server on which this website is stored or any server, computer or database connected to this website. You must not attack this website via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack.
    2. By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. VEEIP Limited will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use this website will cease immediately.

  14. Disputes

    1. We will try to resolve any disputes with you quickly and efficiently.
    2. If you are unhappy with us please contact us as soon as possible.
    3. If you and we cannot resolve a dispute using our complaint handling procedure, we will:
      1. 1 let you know that we cannot settle the dispute with you; and
      2. 2 give you certain information required by law about our alternative dispute resolution provider. You may also use the online dispute resolution (ODR) platform to resolve the dispute with us. For more details, please visit the website on the 'Your Europe' portal: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr/.
    4. If either party needs to resort to court proceedings, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to this Policy.
    5. English law will apply to this Policy.
