Linking Payment Cards
Topics
Why do I need to link a payment card(s)?
In order for VEEIP to bring you effortless rewards for shopping with your favourite brands, we need to be able to identify the purchases that you make. We do this by linking transactions to your VEEIP registered payment card(s).
VEEIP also pays your rewards back directly via cashback (push-to-card) to your payment card(s).
You can relax however, we never ask for any security details so we can't take any money off your cards, we can only credit money back when you redeem your VEEIPs.
How many payment cards can I link to VEEIP?
You can register up to 8 personal or business cards at any one time, which you can use interchangeably to qualify towards the redemption of your VEEIPs. This means that you can enjoy the benefits of VEEIP irrespective of the card(s) that you use.
Which types of payment cards can I link to my account?
You can link any new or existing Visa or Mastercard payment card(s) issued by a UK Bank or Financial Institution or any American Express (Amex) card issued in the UK. We will be adding other networks subject to consumer demand, so feel free to link your other cards and we will let you know when they are available to be used with VEEIP.
If you wish to register other cards on any other networks such as Discover, you can do so and VEEIP will let you know when they can be used towards the redemption of your VEEIPs.
What payment card information is required?
VEEIP only requires the long card number (PAN) and expiry date, which we use to let you know when your card details need to be updated.
We do not take any security information as we will NEVER take money from your card, we only pay money back when you trigger the payment of a reward.
Why don't you require the security information on my payment card?
We do not ask you for the security numbers for your linked payment cards because we NEVER debit money from you. VEEIP is not a payment app and we don't get involved in processing payments for brands. We only use your card details to identify your transactions and to credit money back to you when you redeem a VEEIP.
Can I register my other payment methods?
At the moment, you can register any valid payment card(s) with VEEIP.
In time we may bring other electronic payment methods such as PayPal onto the Platform and will let you know when they are enabled.
Why do you ask for the expiry date on linked payment cards?
We ask you for your payment card expiry date so that we can remind you to update your card details when they expire, to make sure that you never miss out on your VEEIPs.
The expiry date is also required to pay rewards back to your payment card(s).
What happens if I don't register my payment card(s)?
If you don't register your payment card(s) with VEEIP, we will not be able to identify your transactions and you therefore cannot redeem any VEEIPs that you may have received from your added brands.
What are my payment card details used for?
We use the payment card details that you register to identify transactions that you make with VEEIP Brands in order to:
i. Qualify your spend towards your VEEIPs at your added brands.
ii. Identify whether you have made an initial transaction at a VEEIP Brand that you have not added so that we can add it automatically for you.
iii. Pay rewards back to your payment card(s).
What happens if I forget to link my payment card(s)?
You will not be able to accrue any spend towards your VEEIPs until such time as your cards are linked therefore it is imperative that you do this as soon as possible in order to fully benefit from VEEIP.
What should I do if I cannot register my payment card(s)?
If you are having problems registering a valid payment card, please follow the on-screen instructions and ensure that all of your details are correct.
If you are still having problems registering a card, please contact VEEIP HQ.
Can I register payment cards with the same number as someone else?
Payment card numbers are typically unique although it is possible in a small number of cases that two people share an account with the same card number.
Unfortunately, it is not currently possible for two members to register the same card number with VEEIP, therefore the Platform will allow the registration of the first card only and all transactions will be linked to this member's account.
Why do you offer the choice of personal and business?
VEEIP allows you to separate personal and business cards for your convenience.
What happens when my payment cards expire or are replaced for some other reason?
The VEEIP Platform will advise you when you need to update your card details based upon the expiry dates that you have registered for each card.
If you change your payment cards for any reason, remember to update card details with the Platform via your account dashboard.
